November 2020 was an amazing opportunity for our community to Spread the Light
Salt and Light Coalition held it’s first ever VIRTUAL city-wide race to end human trafficking. With your help, we were able to raise over $5000. That is enough to sponsor one THRIVER for one year.
Participants spanned across the GLOBE to ensure that trafficking survivors are equipped to find employment through workforce development.
The Salt and Light mission is designed to equip, EMPOWER, and break the cycle of trafficking - one woman at time. With your continued SUPPORT we are changing the world together!

2017 KICK-OFF EVENT HIGHLIGHTS
Salt and Light Coalition held their kickoff event for their new non-profit at the Joffrey Ballet Studio on Saturday, August 19. Their event featured a yoga class taught by Brooke Boon, founder and CEO of Holy Yoga, with live music by legendary violinist and DJ, Kat V, followed by an informal reception emceed by Zoraida Sambolin from NBC 5. Izabel Olson, founder of Salt and Light Coalition, spoke about her passion and motivation to help the women of Chicago who have been trafficked. Salt and Light Coalition was able to raise over $30,000 with the help of generous donors. It was announced that she will be presented with a special award at the 2017 Secretary of State's Celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month for her hard work in the community. FLOW FOR FREEDOM 2018
We want to sincerely thank everyone who made Flow for Freedom 2018 atop Willis Tower Sky Deck a wonderful success. Contributions from this event will provide scholarships to 3 additional women completing programs with Salt and Light Coalition. This event began with an amazing HIIT+YOGA session led by Chicago Health Coach and instructor Jon Alleman. Our supporters also enjoyed a health food fair filled with many local natural goodies, including the popular RX Bars and an alcoholic kombucha that is pre-market. Speakers at this event included our founder Izabel Olson and team members Jessica Mitchell and Eileen Foust. Lastly, we were honored to hear the moving testimony of P. Roberts, showing us the depth of this coalition's impact.
